Fun with Lists (Part Five) 2/15/06

It's spirit week at my school. Woohoo....
Don't get me wrong, it's great and all. The students get really into it, but...well, I lose class time for a pep fest, for showcase, and more. It's annoying. I may have to move a test now.
I'm not whining. There were some great moments today. I love the crew I'm working with on West Side Story. They're predominantly freshman and super excited. I told them we would be painting and building next week, and they FLIPPED with joy. It's kind of cool to see. I still hate the show, but that's neither here nor there.
Today, instead of a story or ramblings, I present another fun list about me. You know they make you laugh/think/cringe/insert verb here.
Enjoy.

Four jobs I've had:
1. Teacher
2. Document clerk/paralegal

I have to choose only five?

1. Minnesota (Robbinsdale and Brooklyn Center)
2. St. Louis, Missouri
3. Michigan (Bloomfield Hills and Monroe)
4. Connecticut/ New York

Four TV shows I love:

2. Batman, the Animated Series (I really loved that cartoon.)
3. 24
4. Scrubs (though I also love the Office.)

Four places I've vacationed:
1. Heiligendamm and other parts, Germany

3. London, England
4. St. Lucia

Four of my favorite dishes:
1. Swiss Chicken with Rice Pilaf and Broccoli

Four books I've read and loved:
1. Carter Beats the Devil by Glen David Gold
2. The Life of Pi by Yann Martel
3. Animal Farm by George Orwell
4. The Inferno by Dante Alighieri (I like strange books, I know. It's hard to limit to four, folks.)

Four places I would rather be right now:
1. The Great Barrier Reef, Australia
2. St. Lucia
3. New York
4. Wherever my wife is.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There you go, folks. Enjoy. Thanks to
Miss Cado for the idea.
Have a good night folks.
Until tomorrow,
namaste.
Oh, and watch out people, tomorrow is Thursday...and Steve has given me some great ideas for what to with certain readers.

Arrested Development IS the best show ever. Now if it would just get put back on TV.
